Dyson DC26 Vacuum Cleaner

Dysons DC26 Multi floor canister vacuum works like a full-size Dyson vacuum, but is a fraction of the size. It will fit on a standard letter size sheet of paper and weighs a mere 12.26 lbs. The DC26 Multi floor is suitable for every floor type - carpet, tile, vinyl or wood. The detachable handle allows tools to fit directly to the end of the hose, for cleaning in tight places, and the floor tool clicks into the back of the machine when not in use for easy storage. Included with the DC26 Multi floor is an articulating hard floor tool, stair tool and a combination brush/crevice tool. The centralized motor is positioned to remove drag weight, and as with all Dyson vacuums, the DC26 has no bag, and Patented Dyson technology that doesnt lose suction power as you vacuum. The conductive carbon fiber brush bar has rows of ultra fine carbon fiber filaments engineered to remove fine dust from hard floors. The turbinehead brushbar is ideal for cleaning short pile carpet and can be turned off for hard floors and delicate rugs. The articulating hard floor tool maneuvers easily and cleans narrow gaps. With washable filters and no bags to buy, there are no extra costs.

Concentrated Root Cyclone™ technology

Conventional vacuums rely on bags to trap dust and dirt. But when you start to use some bagged machines, dust can clog the tiny holes in the bag. Some ordinary bagless vacuums work in a similar way. They use a central filter to trap fine dust, which can clog too. Suction drops, leaving dust and dirt behind in your home.

Dyson’s patented Root Cyclone™ technology doesn’t rely on a bag to trap dust and dirt. Instead, it spins the air so fast that centrifugal forces up to 100,000 times the force of gravity fling dust and dirt out of the air and straight into the clear bin. And that includes the fine dust that can restrict airflow in some ordinary bagless vacuums. Unlike some other vacuums, Dyson machines don't lose suction.

Easy carrying and storage

DC26 machines are ultra-lightweight and small - for homes where storage is at a premium, or as a second machine for upstairs. They weigh just 5.3kg and fit on an A4 sheet of paper. But there's no compromise on performance. The cyclones in a DC26 machine work like the larger cyclones in a full-size Dyson vacuum.

HEPA filter

Dyson cyclones are able to extract microscopic particles including common household allergens such as pollen and mold. But there’s also a HEPA filter as an extra precaution for people with asthma and allergies. It won’t need replacing – just give it a wash according to the instructions that come with the machine.

Carbon fiber floor tool

The brush bars of most vacuums only have nylon bristles to clean different surfaces. These are not as effective on hard floors, where fine dust can be left behind. The Dyson Carbon fibre floor tool has both nylon bristles and brushes made from pure carbon fiber – selected for its anti-static properties. The carbon fiber brushes reduce static build-up on hard floors to remove fine dust, and the stiff nylon bristles remove ground-in dirt from carpets.

Captures allergens. Expels cleaner air.

Ordinary vacuums can’t always retain all the dust they remove – so some of them vent some of it back into your room in the air they expel. That’s the reason for the dusty, electrical smell. Dyson cyclones can capture microscopic particles such as pollen, mold and bacteria.

Hygienic and quick to empty

Emptying the bin on a Dyson vacuum is quick and hygienic. Just press the button to release the dirt. The bin is clear, so you can see when it needs emptying – and how much dust, dirt and pet hair the machine has captured. Dyson vacuums were the first to have clear bins – despite market researchers insisting it was a bad idea. Now clear bins are everywhere (though not all are made from the same ABS polycarbonate as riot shields, like Dyson bins).

Articulating hard floor tool

The Articulating hard floor tool has soft nylon bristles that gently remove dust and dirt from wood and other delicate floors. It pivots 180° and has an ultra-slim profile to reach into the awkward gaps between cupboards and units more easily. There are two bristle curtains: the first removes large debris, while the second seals the tool to prevent suction leaking.

DC26 Multi Floor is designed for homes with hard floors and limited storage. It weighs just 12lbs and is easy to store – but it works like a full-size Dyson vacuum. It includes a floor tool with anti-static carbon fiber brushes that remove fine dust from hard floors.
